Mobile and tracked screeners in Australia
Mobile scalping and incline screens from Rubble Master and Komplet span 30 to 660 tph and sort soil, aggregate, sand and recycled material into clean, sized product on your site.
/ overview
A mobile screener separates crushed or raw material into clean, sized fractions, creating the graded stockpiles buyers actually pay for. Instead of an unsorted heap, you make road base, drainage aggregate, sand or topsoil to spec on site. We supply two of the strongest screening ranges available: Rubble Master scalping and incline screens for soils, aggregates and mining, and the Komplet Kompatto range of transportable mobile screeners that fold into a shipping container.
How to choose. Start with the product you sell and the volume you move. A scalper strips fines and oversize and forgives dirty, rocky feed; an incline screen gives a sharper cut for finished, saleable sizes. Then match the screenbox and throughput to your daily target, and the number of decks to the number of products you need out of one pass.
- Decks = products. One deck makes a 2-way split; two decks make a 3-way split. Match decks to the sizes you sell.
- Screen size to throughput. A bigger screenbox moves more tonnes. Size it to your daily volume, not your peak hour.
- Swap the mesh, change the cut. The same machine moves between sand, base and drainage stone. Change screen media to hit the spec you sell.
- Crush & screen together. Pair a screen with a Rubble Master or Komplet crusher to turn raw feed into a finished product in one pass.

/ questions
Common questions
What can I screen with a mobile screener?
Just about any bulk material that needs sizing, including crushed and recycled concrete, road base, drainage aggregate, sand and gravel, topsoil, compost and mulch, and mixed construction waste. You size the machine and the mesh to the product: fine mesh for sand and topsoil, coarse mesh and a heavy scalping deck for demolition rubble and quarry oversize. If your feed is wet, sticky or contaminated organics, tell us and we will match the right screen media and deck angle to keep it flowing.
Scalping screen or incline screen: which do I need?
A scalper (like the Rubble Master HS series) is a heavy-duty primary screen that strips fines and oversize before the crusher, or sizes raw soils and organics. It handles rocky, dirty feed and protects your crushing chamber. An incline screen (the RM MSC series, the Komplet Kompatto range) gives a sharper, more accurate cut for aggregate producers making a saleable spec product. If you are cleaning up feed, scalp; if you are making finished, sized stockpiles to sell, screen on an incline.
How many decks do I need: a 2-way or 3-way split?
Decks decide how many products you make in one pass. A single deck gives a 2-way split (oversize and undersize); a two-deck screen gives a 3-way split (oversize, a mid product and fines). Add a third deck when you need four fractions. Match the number of decks to the number of saleable sizes you actually sell. The Komplet Kompatto 5030 switches between a 3-way and 2-way split on hydraulics, so one machine covers both jobs without a rebuild.
Do screeners pair with a crusher?
Yes, and that is where they earn their keep. Run a scalper ahead of a crusher to pull fines and oversize, protect the chamber and lift throughput. Then screen the crusher discharge to turn it into a clean, sized, saleable product instead of an unsorted pile. A Kompatto or RM screen sits naturally behind any Rubble Master or Komplet crusher. We will size the pair to your material and target.
Should I buy or hire a screener?
If you screen regularly, owning pays for itself and keeps a machine on hand. For one-off jobs, seasonal peaks or a project that does not warrant a purchase, hire is the answer. Screener hire is available Australia-wide. See our screener hire page, or talk to Craig about the right machine for your job.
