A mobile shredder takes bulky, awkward waste such as mixed construction waste, timber, pallets and green waste and reduces it to a uniform, sortable size on the spot. You cart less volume, pay less at the tip and recover more clean material. We supply the Komplet Krokodile, a slow-speed, high-torque shredder built to swallow tough, mixed feed that fast grinders bog down on.
How to choose. Start with your material and your volume. A shredder is for bulky, mixed or soft material that needs its size and volume cut, not for producing a spec aggregate. If you are reducing waste for cheaper haulage and easier sorting, a slow-speed shredder is the machine; if you are turning rock or concrete into a saleable product, look at our crushers.

What does a slow-speed shredder do?
It reduces bulky, mixed waste such as timber, pallets, formwork, board and general construction waste to a uniform, sortable size by tearing it apart at low speed under high torque. Unlike a fast grinder, it works through contaminated, awkward material without jamming, and it shrugs off the occasional bolt, bracket or lump of concrete. The output is denser and easier to sort, screen and cart.
What can the Komplet Krokodile shred?
Bulky and mixed construction and demolition waste, timber, pallets and formwork, and general waste that needs volume reduction. It is rated to 150 tph on construction waste and runs a 1,500 mm shaft at 160,000 Nm of torque, so it pulls through dense, contaminated loads rather than bogging on them.
What is the difference between a shredder and a crusher?
A shredder reduces bulky, soft or mixed material by tearing it apart, making it ideal for timber, waste and general construction waste. A crusher reduces hard rock and concrete by compression or impact into a spec aggregate.
