Screener hire
Mobile screener hire to grade, clean and split the material on your site. Size soil, sand, aggregate, compost and crushed product into clean fractions on your own pad without buying a machine that then sits idle.
/ overview
A hired mobile screener sizes and cleans material on site by splitting soil, sand, aggregate, compost or crushed product into clean, sellable fractions and dropping out the oversize and contamination. It’s how you turn a raw pile into products, and it’s the natural partner to a crusher on a recycling job.
We arrange Rubble Master and Komplet screen hire through our own stock and the machine owners we work with, from compact, container-transportable units to high-capacity scalping and incline screens. We match the right machine to your site, operated or dry, and get it there ready to run.
Screening on a short project or a one-off clean-up is exactly the kind of job hire is built for.
/ what you can screen
One machine, clean fractions.
Soil and site-won material
Split topsoil, subsoil and excavated spoil into clean fractions, and take the oversize and rubbish out so what you reuse on site is to spec.
Aggregate and crushed product
Grade crushed rock and recycled concrete into sized products, and run a screen behind a crusher to finish a saleable, well-graded aggregate in one pass.
Sand, gravel and quarry feed
Scalp and size sand and gravel, remove fines or oversize, and turn raw pit material into products you can sell or place.
Compost, organics and construction waste
Screen compost, mulch and green waste to size, and separate mixed construction and demolition material into recoverable streams.
/ machines available
Compact box to high-capacity scalper.
We arrange hire across the Rubble Master and Komplet ranges through our own stock and the machine owners we work with. Availability varies by region and season, so tell us your job and we’ll match a machine. The Rubble Master Screen Line covers mobile scalping and incline screens for soils, aggregates and mining-scale duty, while the Komplet Kompatto range covers the compact 221 for tight sites, the 200 tph Kompatto 104 that folds into a 40 ft container, and the Kompatto 5030 with a hydraulic three-way split. Compact and transportable, or high-capacity, we size the screen to your material and throughput.

What a hire looks like.
- 01
Scope the job
Material, tonnage, the fractions you need, site access and how long you’ll be screening.
- 02
Match the machine
We arrange the right screenbox, decks and mesh, operated or dry, to suit your crew and pad.
- 03
Screen on site
The machine arrives, gets set up and starts feeding raw material in and stockpiling clean fractions out.
- 04
Off hire
When the pile’s sorted, we collect the machine. You keep the product and the saving.
/ what drives the cost
Why there’s no fixed day rate.
Screener hire is quoted per job, because a handful of drivers move the number. Get these in front of Craig and you’ll get a rate that reflects your job, not an average.
Machine size and throughput
A compact screen that fits a 20 ft container hires at a different rate to a high-capacity unit clearing 200 tph plus. We match the screen to your volume, not the biggest box.
How long you need it
Day, week or across a project. Longer hires generally lower the rate per tonne, because mobilisation is spread across more screening.
Operated or dry
Whether we supply an operator, and who fuels the machine, moves the number. Tell us how your crew is set up and we quote it that way.
Getting it there
Float distance and transport to and from your site feed into mobilisation. A job near base costs less to service than one hours away.
Decks and media
Two-deck or three-way split, and the mesh or media your product needs, affect setup and changeover time on the hire.
Volume and access
How many tonnes you process, and how easily the screen can be fed and cleared, decide how many days you actually need it.

/ questions
Common questions
What can I screen with a hired screener?
Soil and excavated spoil, sand and gravel, crushed rock and recycled concrete, quarry feed, compost, mulch and green waste, and mixed construction waste. A screen sizes material into clean fractions and takes out the oversize and contamination, turning a raw pile into products you can place or sell.
How much does screener hire cost?
Screener hire is quoted per job. The cost is driven by the machine size and throughput, how long you need it, whether it runs operated or dry, the float distance to your site, and the decks and mesh your product needs. Tell Craig your material, target fractions and location and you will get a real quote.
Can I hire a screener with a crusher?
Yes. Running a screen behind a crusher as part of a crush-and-screen train lets you crush the material and finish it to sized, saleable product in one pass on site. We can arrange the machines to work together and size them to your throughput.
What size screener should I hire?
Match throughput and screenbox to your daily volume and your feed. Compact units suit tight sites and smaller jobs; high-capacity screens clear 200 tph and up; and three-way-split machines give you two products and an oversize in a single pass. A quick call sorts the right one.

We’ll spec the machine.
Material, throughput, transport, site conditions. A short conversation is faster than a brochure. You’ll talk to someone who’s spent their career around crushers.
